Hands-on Commissioning

Hands-On Commissioning provides direct, on-site support for HVAC systems during testing, validation, and optimisation. This service is designed for projects where practical delivery is critical and issues need to be identified and resolved in real time.

TAB Consultants works alongside contractors, engineers, and project teams to ensure systems are tested correctly, perform as intended, and are ready for operation.

We are typically engaged when:

• Commissioning is falling behind programme  

• Systems are not performing as expected  

• Functional testing is incomplete or inconsistent  

• Additional technical expertise is required on site  

Our approach is practical and evidence-based. We focus on how systems behave in operation, not just how they are designed.

Scope includes:

• Functional performance testing of HVAC systems  

• Air and water balancing (TAB support and verification)  

• Pre-functional checks and system readiness reviews  

• Troubleshooting and issue resolution  

• Support during Integrated Systems Testing (IST)  

• Validation of system controls and sequences
